Consultation at Bluff Park Dental
You come in and meet with Dr. Clingan or Dr. Beard. We review your bite, examine your teeth, and talk through what you want to fix. This appointment is where we determine whether CandidPro is the right path for you.
Digital scans and treatment planning
If you're a good candidate, we take digital scans of your teeth. No messy impressions. Those scans go to CandidPro's orthodontic team, where a licensed orthodontist works with our doctors to design your custom treatment plan. You get a 3D simulation showing exactly how your teeth will move and what your final result is expected to look like before you commit to anything.
Your custom trays are delivered
Once your aligners are fabricated, they ship directly to you. We walk you through how to wear them, how long each day you need them in (22 hours is the standard recommendation), and when to switch to the next set in the series.
Wear, switch, repeat
You swap to a new set of trays on the schedule your treatment plan outlines, typically every one to two weeks. Each set moves your teeth a small amount closer to the final position.
Remote monitoring through the CandidMonitoring app
Every two weeks, you take intraoral scans at home using your smartphone and the CandidMonitoring app. Those scans are reviewed by both AI technology and a licensed professional who shares real-time feedback. Does insurance cover clear aligners?

How long does CandidPro treatment usually take?
Most patients complete treatment in 4 to 12 months, depending on how much movement is needed. Complex cases can take longer. During your consultation, we'll give you a more specific estimate based on your teeth and CandidPro's digital treatment plan.
